Roller arrived as raw wood. However, we will be coat the roller with food grade coconut oil and beeswax; however, we recommend caring for your wooden items periodically.  If dough sticks or begins to stick, clean dough off, and coat with your favorite wood protective product.  We recommend beeswax or a beeswax and other food safe oil/wax combination.
