Sonoran Skies Collection Dough

The Sonoran Skies Collection is inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of Arizona.  This collection captures the colors of towering saguaros, a nod to prickly pear (one of my favorites), beautiful blooming wildflowers, sprawling canyons, and vibrant desert sunsets.  Whether little or big hands are creating cactus & succulent gardens, exploring winding canyon trails, or building a desert oasis to explore, these rich and vibrant hues invite open-ended creativity and discovery.

Dough is handmade and hand kneaded in small batches designed for hours of imaginative sensory play and learning.

Please read the descriptions below for more details of each color.  All dough in this drop contains glitter and is available as scented with essential oils or unscented.  If you would prefer your dough to be scented with vanilla extract only, please select scented and leave a note at checkout.

• Desert Rose - a vibrant muted pink inspired by blooming desert flowers
• Terracotta - a warm yet bright terracotta clay color inspired by sunbaked desert earth and traditional Southwestern adobe homes and earthenware.
• Agave - a muted blue-green reminiscent of the beautiful agave plants scattered throughout the desert
• Saguaro - a soft, dusty green inspired by Arizona's iconic giant cactus and other varities of cacti
• Turquoise Sky - a beautiful turquoise color inspired by Arizona's famous gemstones and blue skies
• Desert Lupine - a bright neon purple inspired by the colorful wild lupine found throughout the desert.  This is a sand dough.
• Sandstone - a warm, sandy beige inspired by weathered rock formations, desert trails, wildlife, and more. This is a sand dough.
• Canyon Clay - a rich earthy brown reflecting the canyon walls and other rock formations of the desert
• Succulent Garden - this swirl dough is a beautiful blend of Agave and Desert Rose inspired by some of my favorite succulents.
• Cactus Bloom - this swirl dough is a blend of Saguaro, Turquoise Sky, and Desert Rose as a nod to the beautiful blooms found on cacti.
• Desert Oasis - this swirl dough is a blend of Saguaro and Turquoise Sky, bringing a refreshing color combination, and inspired by hidden desert springs and the beautiful surrounding greenery. 
• Painted Canyon - this swirl dough combines Sandstone, Canyon clay, and Terracotta and was inspired by the gorgeous and amazing rock formations found throughout Arizona and the Southwest.
• Desert Sunset - this gorgeous swirl blends Desert Lupine, Desert Rose, and Terracotta to bring the unforgettable Arizona sunsets to your sensory table.

• NOTE:  Sand dough can expand once in the jar and during shipment. Lids will be closed snug with space for dough to expand, but the lid could loosen in shipment due to expansion.  Please be aware of this and if jar seems to have expanded, please open upon receiving package, allow dough to settle or take out and put back in jar, and allow jar to settle back so that it does not stay warped from any heat and expansion during shipment.  

All dough jars are 7 oz.  Dough contains glitter and is scented with essential oils.

* Supervision is recommended at all times with dough and should not be ingested.  Dough is made with minimal, non-toxic ingredients.  Use clean hands, keep jar closed tightly, and store out of sunlight.
